Set Sail for the Sun

from Haze by CantiaQuorum

/

about

Continuing our journey, this track is inspired by three further paintings taken from the JMW Turner: Adventures in Colour Exhibition.

Reacting to the sumptuous colours and use of light in Turner's work, we begin with a sailing boat setting out on the open sea ('A Sailing Boat off Deal') reaching calm seas, darkening skies and rough seas ('A Boat and Red Buoy in a Rough Sea') before we hit a storm ('Storm off the East Coast').
